Here's an update and another plug for roomates at the Minneopa State Park Camper Cabin on May 18 and 19 if you're attending the Annual Conference of MN Master Naturalists. This is a co-ed rooming situation with 3 of the 5 bunks taken. Call or email me to reserve your spot. Open to everyone. Nate Arthur, natearthur99@yahoo.com or 651-269-9400

Ok, I already have an update. I signed up the camper cabin at Minneopa State Park with the park manager for May 18 and 19. It's about five miles from the conference center. The cabin is heated (propane), has electrity, a porch, and a woodstove. I need to reserve two of the five bunkbeds in case my wife wants to come - I'll know more soon on that. That leaves 3 or 4 spots depending. The cost is 108.50 ($50/night plus 8.50 reservation fee+ chip in for firewood if any) If we fill all five spots, it will be about $22 a person. We can't cook in the cabin but we can have a "coffee pot and a crock pot". Since food is provided at the conference that shouldn't be a problem. Contact me directly at natearthur99@yahoo.com or 651-269-9400 if interested.
Here's the link for the DNR camper cabins, fyi:
Hi Everybody,
I'm thinking about the upcoming annual conference. I would really like to get the one camper cabin at Minneopa State Park. There's five bunk beds. Unfortunately, the DNR reservation site is down. Anyone else interested in being roomates in a camper cabin or carpooling or know anyone that might be interested?
Is there a Chapter meeting coming up in March?
